Kentucky Pork Producers Association Announces Departure of Executive Director Niki Ellis

After five years of dedicated service to the Kentucky Pork Producers Association (KPPA), Executive Director Niki Ellis will be departing her role with the organization.
Ellis joined KPPA in September 2021 and, throughout her tenure, helped lead significant growth in the Association’s programming, producer engagement, and opportunities for involvement across the state.
“I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked on behalf of Kentucky’s pork producers throughout the past five years,” said Ellis. “I am incredibly thankful for the time, dedication, and work our staff team has accomplished together.”
When reflecting on her time with the Association, Ellis said her favorite accomplishment has been “the people.” She highlighted the growth of engagement among Kentucky’s grassroots leaders, including increased participation in youth activities, board and committee involvement, and leadership development programs.
Under Ellis’ leadership, KPPA has continued to strengthen connections with producers and industry partners while expanding opportunities for Kentucky’s pork industry and the people who support it.
The Kentucky Pork Producers Association Board of Directors extends its sincere appreciation to Ellis for her five years of service and leadership on behalf of Kentucky’s pork producers and the pork industry as a whole.
